2KB Energy is a Georgia-based small business providing energy efficiency program management services, including sustainability planning, energy audits, and general project management.

We partner with in-house teams in the government, industrial, and commercial sectors to develop and responsibly implement practical strategies for eliminating waste while providing value to communities and customers.

Our Company Leaders

George Buchanan
Founder & CEO

George has worked in the energy and environmental solutions industry for over 20 years. Throughout his career, he has successfully served clients in technical, financial, and strategic roles. George is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance, the Georgia Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, and is the private co-chair of the Georgia Chapter of the Energy Services Coalition. He is a Certified Energy Manager, frequently speaks at industry educational sessions, and conducts many training sessions on energy programs. George holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA.

Eng Kun Taing
Director of Operations

Eng has over 10 years of experience developing sustainability and energy conservation projects for both private and public sector clients. To date, he has successfully developed and implemented more than $34M of energy performance contracts. He serves on the board of directors for EarthShare of Georgia (ESGA). Eng is PMP certified and is a LEED AP with a specialization in O&M. He holds an MBA from Duke University and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
