Construction Management Associate
2KB Energy Services is an independent energy and environmental consulting firm based in north Atlanta. To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a Business Development Associate to strengthen our team, either in the Atlanta Offices or remote. This role includes working in a close team environment to help develop relationships, create awareness, and attract business and harness opportunities.

Our team works on a hybrid schedule in the Dunwoody office. This role will require regular travel across the state of Georgia for site visits.
What You’ll Do
Project Documentation and Administration
Perform regular project document management utilizing programs including Microsoft Office Suite, LCPTracker, Procore, BQE Core, and other platforms as dictated by client requirements.
Review contract documents including proposals, bid packages, contractual agreements, design drawings, and specifications.
Ensure project files are up to date, organized, and submitted in accordance with stakeholder requirements.
Upload project documents to client portals, update client invoices, and track project hours.
Site Coordination and Compliance
Perform site visits across the state of Georgia, documenting observations and verifying compliance with contract documents.
Coordinate with contractors/subcontractors and Owner's teams regarding performance of work and potential compliance issues.
Review project schedules regularly to determine any potential conflicts and/or areas of concern (i.e., time loss, order of activities).
Project Meeting and Communication Support
Participate and/or lead recurring progress meetings with key stakeholders during the implementation phase.
Issue meeting minutes with key action items identified for all parties.
Maintain clear and professional communication with all project stakeholders.
Financial and Payment Oversight
Review and verify payment applications/invoices to ensure work completed is accurate and within compliance with client requirements.
Track project budgets and expenditures in coordination with project management team.
Preferred Experience
1-3 years of experience in construction management, project coordination, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in technical documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Experience with project management software such as Procore, BQE Core, or similar platforms preferred.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including contractors, engineers, and clients.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field preferred.
Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly across Georgia for site visits.
Experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, or HVAC construction projects is a plus.
