GEFA Launches ESPC Technical Assistance Program for Georgia Communities and Campuses
We’re excited to share that the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) has launched its ESPC Technical Assistance Program for local governments and other public‑sector organizations across the state.
Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) gives cities, counties, and campuses a way to modernize facilities, tackle deferred maintenance, and reduce energy and water costs using guaranteed savings to pay for improvements over time. GEFA’s new program adds something that has been missing for many communities: neutral, owner‑side technical guidance at every stage—from early project exploration and ESCO selection through investment‑grade audits, contracting, implementation, and measurement and verification.
2KB Energy Services is honored to support GEFA in delivering this technical assistance and helping Georgia communities turn good ideas into funded, well‑managed projects. If you’re a city or county manager, finance officer, or facilities leader wondering whether ESPC is the right tool for your capital and sustainability goals, this program is designed for you.
