GEFA Performance Contract

Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) has announced a major performance contract to implement energy efficiency improvements across the University of Georgia’s Athens campus—an important milestone for the state’s Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contracting (GESPC) program.

As UGA’s owner’s representative and project facilitator on this engagement, 2KB Energy Services is helping the university translate that contract into real outcomes: coordinated construction in occupied buildings, verified savings, and durable infrastructure that facilities teams can operate with confidence. For more than 11 years, 2KB has focused on exactly this role—standing alongside public‑sector owners to navigate complex energy projects, align technical teams, and protect the long‑term interests of campuses and communities.
